SalesRoads vs Callbox: Pricing, Terms and Reviews Compared (2026)

Pick SalesRoads if you sell in the US, your buyers answer the phone, and you want experienced reps with cancel-anytime terms. Pick Callbox if you need outbound across several countries or languages, or want the lower price per rep: about $6,667 a month per pod against $11,950 per 4 weeks for one SalesRoads SDR. Both vendors publish at least a starting price, which is rare in this category, so the comparison below uses their own numbers wherever possible (checked October 2026). IntentSignal is a cold email agency, so we're one of the options. We've tried to be fair, and every competitor fact links to its source.

SalesRoads vs Callbox: Pricing, Terms and Reviews Compared (2026)

Quick verdict

  • Choose SalesRoads for one focused US phone motion: experienced dedicated SDRs (5 to 10 years, per SalesRoads), a coach and strategist on every account, no long-term commitment, and a Clutch rating of 4.9 from 69 reviews.
  • Choose Callbox for reach: offices in 8 countries, programs it says run in 60+ countries, more channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, web retargeting), and roughly half the year-one cost for a single rep.
  • Choose neither if your buyers live in their inbox and rarely pick up. A cold email program will cost less than either.

What each one costs

SalesRoads

The SalesRoads pricing page lists $11,950 per 4-week engagement for one SDR, $16,750 for two and $43,150 for six. It bills every 4 weeks, so a year has 13 invoices: $155,350 for one SDR. No setup fee is listed. The price includes 500 prospect records per SDR per month, CRM integration, a live dashboard, and deliverability infrastructure. Full breakdown on our SalesRoads pricing page.

Callbox

The Callbox pricing page estimates $6,667 a month per pod, with exact pricing after a consultation. A pod is one dedicated SDR, a multichannel cadence, AI-enriched contact data, campaign manager oversight and weekly reporting. Callbox's pricing FAQ frames it differently: clients spend $20,000 to $40,000 a quarter, which is $6,667 to $13,333 a month. The FAQ says price depends on the number of resources, services, supported languages, region and data complexity. Neither page states a contract length or setup fee; third parties report 3 to 12 month minimums (12 months common) and $1,000 to $5,000 setup per pod, both as estimates.

Year-one cost by team size

RepsSalesRoads (x 13 cycles)Callbox at $6,667/mo (x 12)Difference
1$155,350$80,004$75,346
2$217,750$160,008$57,742
6$560,950$480,024$80,926

Callbox's estimate has no published volume discount, while SalesRoads cuts the per-rep price by 30% at two reps and 40% at six. So the gap shrinks in percentage terms as you scale: Callbox is about 48% cheaper for one rep, but only about 14% cheaper at six. If your Callbox quote lands at the top of its own $20,000 to $40,000 quarterly range, one pod costs $160,000 a year and is roughly level with one SalesRoads SDR. Setup fees, if Callbox charges them, are not included above.

Smallest commitment you can make

SalesRoads: one 4-week cycle, $11,950, with no long-term commitment (SalesRoads itself recommends judging results over 12 weeks, which is $35,850). Callbox: unknown until you see the contract. At the reported 3-month minimum, one pod is $20,001; at a 12-month term it is $80,004. Ask Callbox for the term in writing before comparing quotes.

Model and team

SalesRoads sells a small, senior team per account. Its homepage says reps have 5 to 10 years of industry experience and '3x industry standard training', and every program comes with a client strategist, an SDR performance coach, a research and data team and an optimization specialist. It has operated since 2007 and Clutch lists it at 50 to 249 employees.

Callbox sells a scaled, multi-region operation. Clutch lists it at 1,000 to 9,999 employees, founded 2004, and its pricing page lists offices in the US, UK, Australia, Colombia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Each pod has a dedicated SDR backed by a customer success manager, production manager and research analysts. Third-party reviewers describe delivery as offshore, and Salesforge says it can feel generic for niche B2B products.

In practice, SalesRoads puts one experienced rep on one market and works to make that rep sound like part of your team. Callbox runs many reps across markets and channels at a lower unit cost.

Channels and data

  • SalesRoads lists outbound calling and personalized email only. No LinkedIn program is listed.
  • Callbox's FAQ lists phone, email, LinkedIn and web retargeting; Salesforge also reports chat, webinars and SMS.
  • SalesRoads builds 500 bespoke records per SDR per month. Callbox claims account lists of 2,000 to 8,000 within 7 days (per Salesforge, citing Callbox).
  • Both include email infrastructure. SalesRoads mentions multiple domains and mailboxes; Callbox mentions its own CRM and engagement platform. Neither publishes who owns the domains when you leave.

Reviews

SalesRoads has the higher score on a smaller base: Clutch 4.9 from 69 reviews, G2 4.9 from 13. Reviewers praise clear, frequent communication, strong project management and data-driven iteration. Complaints mention reporting clarity, rough onboarding, cost for small firms and SDR turnover.

Callbox has more reviews and a slightly lower score: Clutch 4.6 from 128, G2 4.5 from 91. Reviewers praise communication, flexibility and value. Complaints mention weaker performance in non-English markets, shallow reporting and some off-ICP leads.

Who should pick which

Pick SalesRoads if

  • You sell only in the US and your buyers take calls.
  • You want experienced reps and a coach on your account more than you want low unit cost.
  • You don't want to sign a multi-month contract before you've seen results.
  • You plan to run 2 or more reps, where SalesRoads' per-rep price drops to $8,375 or less.

Pick Callbox if

  • You need outbound in APAC, Europe or Latin America, or in more than one language.
  • You want LinkedIn and retargeting in the same program.
  • Budget per rep matters most, and you can accept a longer term.
  • You want large account lists built quickly.

A third option: email-first outbound

Both vendors are built around reps on the phone. If your buyers are executives who rarely answer unknown numbers, a B2B cold email agency may book meetings for less. IntentSignal programs start at $2,999 a month, month to month ($35,988 a year), and you own every domain and mailbox we build, in writing. Custom AI agents research each account and write outreach around what is happening at that company. On strong account signals we see about 1 booked meeting per 100 emails. We don't run a phone-first SDR team, so if calling is what works in your market, pick SalesRoads or Callbox. Book a campaign plan call if you want to test email first.

Questions to ask both before signing

  1. Callbox: what is the contract length, and is there a setup fee per pod? SalesRoads: what notice do you need to cancel?
  2. Who owns the domains, mailboxes, lists and call recordings if we leave?
  3. Is the billable unit an SDR seat, and how is a qualified appointment defined?
  4. Callbox: how many pods do we need for our regions and languages? SalesRoads: what does adding a second SDR mid-engagement cost?
  5. What did clients at our deal size book in month 3?

Frequently asked questions

Per rep, usually yes. Callbox estimates $6,667 a month per pod ($80,004 a year). One SalesRoads SDR is $11,950 per 4 weeks ($155,350 a year). At six reps the gap narrows to about 14% because SalesRoads discounts volume.

Does Callbox require a long-term contract?

Callbox doesn't publish contract length. Third-party reviews report minimums of 3 to 12 months, with 12 months common. SalesRoads has no long-term commitment.

Which is better for international outbound?

Callbox. It has offices in 8 countries and prices by region and language. SalesRoads is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida and its site doesn't describe multi-country programs.

Which has better reviews?

SalesRoads scores higher (Clutch 4.9 from 69 reviews) on fewer reviews. Callbox scores 4.6 from 128 on Clutch and 4.5 from 91 on G2.

Do SalesRoads or Callbox do LinkedIn outreach?

Callbox lists LinkedIn among its channels. SalesRoads lists calling and email only.

Why does Callbox quote both monthly and quarterly prices?

Its pricing page shows a $6,667 monthly estimate per pod, while its FAQ says clients spend $20,000 to $40,000 a quarter. The low end of the quarterly range equals one pod; the high end suggests more pods or services.
