Instagram Ads for Insurance Brokers
We run Instagram ads for insurance brokers only where the buyer is actually on Instagram, and for most commercial brokers that’s a small slice. This page is short on purpose. The audiences and follow-up match our Facebook program for brokers; the difference is that the Facebook audience is your buyer and the Instagram audience mostly isn’t.
Your buyer is a CFO, a controller, an owner, or an HR director at an employer with 50 to 1,000 people. Most of them are over 45 and on Facebook in the evening. The ones on Instagram are founders at younger companies and heads of people at startups, and for a benefits producer selling into that segment, Instagram is workable.
Where it fits
Benefits brokers selling to startups and founder-led companies crossing 50 employees. That’s the one audience, and the signal is the headcount threshold. The ad is your producer on camera, vertical, one signal: “You just crossed 50 employees. Here’s what changes on your benefits filing next year.” The lead form asks one question, when the renewal is, and our team calls the same day.
Where it doesn’t
P&C producers selling to mid-market CFOs and controllers. Anyone selling to manufacturers, distributors, or professional services firms run by owners over 50. For those, we’d run Facebook and email, and we’d rather say so than take the spend.
What it costs
The management fee is priced per program, based on spend and how many audiences and creatives are in rotation. We’ll give you the number on the fit call.
Ad spend is billed to your card by Meta. We don’t hold spend, there’s no markup, and you can see every dollar in your own ad account. You don’t need to run our email to run this.
Results
Those are software, logistics, and restaurant clients. We'll put a number from this channel here the first time a client in the category lets us use their name.
If you sell benefits to startups, book the call. If you sell P&C to mid-market, book the call anyway, and we'll set you up on Facebook and email instead.
Book a 15-minute fit call
Tell us your lines and your employee range. If you're a benefits producer selling into startups, Instagram is worth a test. Otherwise we'll point you at Facebook and email.

Questions people ask us
Are CFOs on Instagram?
Mostly not for work. Founders and heads of people at younger companies are, and that’s the only broker audience Instagram serves well.
What should we run instead?
Facebook for owners and CFOs, and email for the renewal-date conversation. Both are built for brokers on their own pages.
What can the ad say?
The change and a review offer, and it can ask for the renewal date. It can’t quote, name a carrier, or promise a rate. Your compliance reviewer sees every ad.
How much should we spend?
If it fits at all, $1,500 to $3,000 a month as a test on the headcount-threshold audience.
